Training for Industry Needs

The Manufacturing Industry has remained strong in the Alamo region. Jobs are available. A skilled workforce to fill the job vacancies within the industry is a critical issue. Workforce Solutions Alamo, the San Antonio Manufacturer's Association and Alamo Colleges have collaborated to create a manufacturing skills development program for adult workforce training to fill top occupational needs in the industry. The goal is to create a regional talent development network that would increase the pool of high skill technicians to better meet the demand. We invite you to participate as an employer in search of a skilled talent pool, or a jobseeker in search of a high-skill, high-wage opportunity.

Prospective Students

This is a 90-day training program. Registration is open to veterans, dislocated workers and those eligible under the Workforce Investment Act. For more information, click here.

Employer Participation

Employers in the Manufacturing Industry are encouraged to register for graduates of this program. Hiring includes a short-term on-the-job training component so you can complete the training to meet your environment needs at a lower cost to you. For more information, click here.
